DMantis: keep brewing information visible during service

The Wendougee DMantis combines two saturated groups with a 4.3-inch touchscreen and a multi-boiler architecture. Scale-equipped versions give the barista beverage-weight feedback; the available features depend on the chosen model. Adjustable pre-infusion provides control over the beginning of extraction.

Read yield alongside the recipe

A brew scale connects the finished espresso mass to the recipe being prepared. That is useful for training a team to work with dose and yield instead of cup appearance alone. Confirm how the selected machine uses the target weight: integrated measurement and automatic shot stopping are separate functions.

Two boiler layouts within the family

Separate brew boilers in the FII layout are relevant when groups need independent temperature settings. A single 4.3 L brew boiler is a different arrangement. Check the model suffix rather than assuming all machines named DMantis share the same capacities and group controls.

Make the interface work for the team

Choose a repeatable recipe, teach each barista how to read weight and shot information, and keep the scale platforms clean and clear of contact. Questions about this model

Do all DMantis versions have built-in scales?

No. The manufacturer differentiates scale-equipped variants. Match the ordered model to the functions needed at the bar.

Can each group run at a different temperature?

That depends on the boiler layout. The FII arrangement has separate brew boilers; confirm group-temperature control on the quoted machine.

Is the pump silent?

The pump is intended for commercial operation, but the machine should not be described as noiseless. Judge operating sound in a practical demonstration if it matters to your venue.
